Welcome to ABS Network

Because I grew up in the turbulent Middle East, I developed a fascination with broadcast news even before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering in the United States.

Over time, a drive for technical and editorial excellence in TV journalism helped me gain the position of Middle East Operations Manager for ABC News. It’s also what paved the way to becoming the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of several media companies and TV channels with media hubs and offices in the Middle East (MENA), Africa, Asia, America, and South America.

Along my professional pathway, I stepped forward to cover many of the most demanding live coverage assignments worldwide, often returning to the war zones of Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. During this journey, I established close relationships with media giants like Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, Diane Sawyer, Barbra Walters and secured high-profile interviews with political figures such as Saddam Hussein, H.M. King Hussein of Jordan, and H.M. King Abdullah, as well as President Bashar Al Assad.

Over the years, I carried forward the lessons learned squarely focused on one objective – to deliver factual and unbiased news to global audiences– in its purest form. These experiences led me to build the outstanding team behind the creation of ABS Network, followed by the news agency A24. The aim has always been to extend a global reach to support our clients wherever the situation demands. As a result, our loyal news industry clients come to us with confidence that we have the expertise to broadcast and deliver next-level news for the 21st century.

Media, with the onset of AI and technologies like cloud computing, are evolving rapidly. I am proud to lead dedicated and agile teams that strive for excellence in this new environment that enhances the experiences of our customers. Over the years I am also proud to say we led broadcasting with many technical firsts in the early days of AI and with state-of-the-art equipment.

As you navigate through our website, I hope you learn more about the qualities that make ABS an outstanding broadcast service provider of choice – working with some of the world’s leading TV & Satellite channels. Whether you are a potential broadcaster, a business partner, or a future employee in an equal opportunity agile supportive learning environment, and with committed ESG principles, we look forward to finding out how we can work together to deliver news to the world.
